Green Tip

Letting your delicate clothes air dry not only keeps them looking better for longer, but saves the energy you would have used to dry them in the dryer. Plus, the sun is a natural yet delicate bleacher helping remove stains.

    Except when they are left out for too long and the sun burns lines in them - totally ruining your favorite shirts.

    Good point! Definitely don't leave them out for too long. Once they've completed drying take them inside.

    If you don't have a backyard, you can still hang them on a balcony or rooftop patio. Just be sure to secure them so they don't blow away!
